Science Department Staffing

January 7, 2015

Dear Parent(s), Legal Guardian(s);

The purpose of this letter is to notify you that your student’s teacher, Ms. Tameka Clemons, has officially resigned from her position as teacher of Biology and Environmental Science. When the position is posted by Human Resources, we will begin the interview process. Since we have no clarity on the advent of Ms. Clemons’ replacement, we have structured the following plan of action:

 • Ms. Voss, Science Department Chair, will coordinate with the biology teachers to provide assignments.
 • Ms. Voss will generate assignments for Environmental Science.
 • Students should make a copy of all assignments before submission.
 • Work will be graded by teachers and entered into the gradebook by a science teacher or Ms. Branch.
 • Teachers receiving work should initial the roster to show receipt of assignments.

Tucker High School is committed to providing quality instruction for all students even in the absence of an instructor.

If you have additional questions or concerns about your child’s educational progress, you may contact me at (678) 874-3702.

Sincerely,

James P. Jackson, Principal
