E-Books Available During COVID19

The following materials are available to help students AT ALL LEVELS to access books.  Please note that all of the sites may have slow downs due to the high volume.  Please be patient.
DCSD has Sora!! Sora is a platform for electronic books AND audiobooks provided for students by the district with added materials from each school.  If you're looking for the Helen Ruffin Reading Bowl books - look here!  Access Sora by finding it in Launchpad OR download the app (Sora by Overdrive) and your school is "DeKalb County School District".  Sign in with your S# and password.
DeKalb Public Library:  Apply for an online card and you can access their books THROUGH Sora.  Just add the DeKalb Public Library as a library.

Online library cards are available to any DeKalb County resident.?

Audible - Amazon's Audiobook Company - is making stories open for students during the crisis.  No username or password to stream audible books.  AND, there are English, Spanish, Italian, and others.
PebbleGo & Capstone offer a variety of materials including Graphic Novels, read aloud books, and Spanish materials.  You need to fill out a form to get started.  Click on the image to go to the form.

Storyline Online is created by the Screen Actor's Guild.  SAG-AFTRA Foundation’s award-winning children’s literacy website consisting of video streams featuring celebrated actors reading children’s books alongside creatively produced illustrations.
TumbleBooks provides TumbleBook Library K-6, K-6 Math e-Books, 7-12th grade e-Books, children's audiobooks.  You can access them with the information shown below.  Click on the picture to go to the site.

The Spanish Experiment provides stories in Spanish (& English) along with other lessons and reviews.  But you can just click on a story and listen to it in Spanish while reading the Spanish text.  It's fun!
Junior Library Guild has opened their online library to everyone.  No limits - multiple people can read the same book at the same time.  Books separated by Elementary, Middle, and High School.  No logins needed!
