In order to earn a Standard Diploma in the Dekalb County School District, students must earn course credits as follows:

College Preparatory: Students planning to enter or transfer into a 4- year University System of Georgia Institution, MUST take two units of the same Foreign Language.

Career Technology: Students planning to enter or transfer into a 2- year Technical College System of Georgia, ONLY need one unit of  Foreign Language.
